Deep inside the Earth, the temperature is so hot that some rocks start melting. The melted rock is called Magma. When the rocks start melting into magma, their mass remains the same but the volume increases. Since the magma is lighter than the solid rocks around it, magma rises and gets collected in magma chambers. And then the magma in the magma chambers, get pushed out through the vents and fissures. And thus making it to rise up to the volcano and erupt.
